Ended up with an extra set that is brand new, never been used that I can't use unless I swap all my rims. They're Galvanized so they won't rust. 5x4.5 bolt pattern. 3500# so they use a tapered spindle as well.

60$ OBO for the pair... let me know if anyone's interested.

Looks like I also have a slightly used setup as well. 5x4.5 hubs, that only have what I was told is about 3000 miles on the races, bearings, seals, etc. They come come with standard dust caps, no easy grease, or lubing.

40$ obo if anyone is interested. Less than a set of bearings, seals, and races would cost you:)

What do you know about my trailer's hubs, if anything? Fausto, if you're lurking, I'd be interested in any thoughts on the health of the hubsets...

That I don't know much about... I recall you said Fausto gave you a long list of stuff he has done to it, so I'd have to assume they haven't been looked at in a while if they aren't on that list. You could message Fauston on FB and see what he says.

I can say though... that after having a grease cap come off somehow on my way home from Everett, that keeping a seriously tight look at your hubs/bearings/races/caps is an incredibly good idea. Of course, not much you can do if it comes off while you're on the freeway, as the smoke from melting Bearings/Races won't be visible till you slow down.

All,

I did not work on the hubs at all. It was one of those projects that I never got around to doing. I know there was a set of bearings with the boat that I had around as spares in case anything did happen on the freeway.
